The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most influential religious and philosophical texts in India, inspiring people for centuries. It is a beautiful, poetic text, but it is also a practical handbook for the spiritual aspirant.
The Gita hasn’t lost its vitality through the ages, and remains just as relevant to us today as it was thousands of years ago. The struggles of Arjuna, the warrior prince, on the eve of battle are the struggles we all face in our lives, on our own internal battlefield.
In a series of 7 online sessions, we are going to read and reflect upon the Gita, drawing on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and Paul Grilley.
Dates of the sessions:
- October 17th 2026, 13:00-16:00 CET
- November 14th 2026, 13:00-16:00 CET
- December 05th 2026, 13:00-16:00 CET
- January 9th 2027, 13:00-16:00 CET
- February 6th 2027, 13:00-16:00 CET
- March 6th 2027, 13:00-16:00 CET
- April 3rd 2027, 13:00-16:00 CET
Participation
The course will have a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 12.
In case you miss a session (or if you wish to listen to it again), all sessions will be recorded and available for a period of 3 weeks after the live session.
The book
you should have a copy of the Bhagavad Gita to read during the course. I highly recommend the translation by Eknath Eswaran, which I will be using, but it is not a must.
